Working on a project under the supervision of Dr. Nitin Gupta, designing primers and performing PCR to identify off-target CRISPR-Cas9 insertions in a transgenic Aedes aegypti line with sex-ratio distortion, and analyzing transcription factor binding sites, focusing on the doublesex (dsx) protein and its role in sexual differentiation.

During the research internship at IIT Gandhinagar with Dr. Subramanian Sankaranarayanan, I conducted research work to distinguish inter- and intra-species variants of Bougainvillea, Plumeria and Dianthus species using DNA barcoding based molecular profiling, which eventually led to a first-author publication

Led a team of 15 mentees to apply machine learning techniques for analyzing biological datasets, including DNA sequence classification using k-mer approaches and BioPython, and drug discovery predictions using CHEMBL bioactivity data and ML models like Random Forest and KNN.
